Akasa Air will shift its Mumbai-Jeddah flights to Navi Mumbai Airport from December, the airline and Adani Group said in a joint announcement on Tuesday.

The move builds on Akasa Air’s existing presence at Navi Mumbai International Airport and will further strengthen international connectivity from the new airport. It also supports the progressive development of Navi Mumbai as an important aviation gateway for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, offering travellers greater choice, they said

Separately, Akasa Air also announced the induction of its 45th Boeing 737 Max aircraft. The airline has inducted 14 planes in CY 2026 to support its growth plans.
